The Asez Holdings The family of Council Member Keawyn Asez was influential in New Mexico long before the Enlightenment. Orion was not even a thought yet and the existence of paranormals was one of the best kept secrets of all time. Outside Albuquerque
Farmington, Orion Farmington can be located in the north northwestern part of Orion. As the Barracks in Farmington are nearest to the border, this city is the major outpost and rallying point in case of border invasion. Moderators: DuchessPariah, Songstar
Roswell, Orion In the southeastern portion of Orion, the infamous city now flourishes with the paranormal that the government once so denied existed. The penitentiary for minor criminals is located in the Gateless area of Roswell, Orion. (Major criminals are generally killed immediately. Enlightenment So many people were affected by the events of the Enlightenment, with stories needing to be told. This forum is for non-RP stories based within the Midnight Rising universe. Members may not utilize characters not their own; however, the characters utilized are not required to be officially approved characters. People who post may ask/request comments and critiques. This is the only In-Character Forum where such things are allowed.

July 15, 2010: Cieren Myshal Sirach is born to Faela Panton-Sirach and Xander Sirach.
December 21, 2010: Tier Sheldon returns to Orion from the Skye Sithen.
February 5, 2011: After bravely battling breast cancer that had metastasized to her brain, Tiernia Sirach died in Kismet’s arms in the early hours of the day, leaving Kismet to raise their family and live the rest of his life alone.
March 15, 2011: The Arrows—at the order of Sareya Montgomery—break Sanctuary at the Otherworldly Bar and Grill for the second time.

Rules of Role-Playing Shapeshifter Characters as of March 01, 2009 • Alphas are rare. Before any member of Midnight Rising may create an Alpha lycanthrope or shapeshifter character, he or she must prove him or herself capable of role-playing a non-Alpha.
• Each member must maintain three or more non-Alpha shapeshifters or lycanthropes before earning an Alpha shapeshifter or lycanthrope*. The number of Alphas per player is limited to three. The limit on dominants is five. There is no limit on submissive shapeshifters or lycanthropes.
• Due to early abuse of the personality trait, the administration has banned sexually sadistic characters.
•*Stolenhart’s Alpha shapeshifter James Adair will still be allowed, because the character was approved before these rules went into effect.

In-Character Role-Playing will begin again on March 01, 2009! You can have your characters approved and waiting before that date!
